Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice

  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, potatoes)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Rajapuri Turmeric Powder

  • 1 tsp Rajapuri Garam Masala

  • 1½ cups vegetable broth

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh cilantro or mint


Directions

  1. Wash & Soak: Wash rice until water runs clear and soak for 20 minutes. Drain.

  2. Sauté: In a pot, heat oil/ghee. Sauté onion, garlic, and mixed vegetables for 5 minutes.

  3. Spice: Stir in Rajapuri Turmeric Powder and Garam Masala.

  4. Combine: Add soaked rice and broth. Bring to a boil.

  5. Simmer: Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes until water is absorbed and rice is tender.

  6. Fluff & Serve: Fluff with a fork, garnish with cilantro or mint, and serve.
